We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, with experience in diagnosing and resolving vehicle issues. This position requires proficiency in working with various automotive systems, including powertrain, electrical systems, and advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS). The Automotive Technician will play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction through high-quality service and repairs.


Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive automotive diagnostics to identify issues accurately.

  • Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles, including Ford.

  • Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete repairs and installations.

  • Work with automotive schematics to troubleshoot electrical systems and components.

  • Execute alignment services and powertrain repairs as needed.

  • Maintain detailed records of services performed, including auto estimating for customer transparency.

  • Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding vehicle status and recommendations.

  • Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth workflow and adherence to safety standards.

  • Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques.


Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an Automotive Technician or Service Technician in a dealership setting.

  • Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive systems, including transmissions, powertrains, and electrical systems.

  • Familiarity with advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) is highly desirable.

  • Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.

  • Ability to read and interpret schematics related to automotive electrical systems.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on automotive diagnostics.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

  • Effective communication skills for customer interaction and teamwork.

  • Welding experience is a plus but not required.
