We are seeking a reliable and skilled Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various driving roles, including commercial driving, shuttle driving, and delivery services. This position requires a commitment to safety and efficiency while transporting goods or passengers. The Driver will be responsible for adhering to all traffic laws and company policies while ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining vehicle integrity.

Responsibilities:

• Operate a variety of vehicles, including commercial trucks, box trucks, and buses, ensuring safe transport of goods or passengers.

• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety standards are met.

• Load and unload cargo as necessary, utilizing equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts.

• Navigate assigned routes efficiently while adhering to schedules.

• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, vehicle maintenance, and hours of service.

• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and team members regarding route changes or delays.

• Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients or passengers.

• Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal transportation regulations.
  

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid driver’s license appropriate for the vehicle type.

• Familiarity with various types of vehicles including dump trucks, tractor-trailers, flatbeds, and tankers.

• Experience in shuttle driving, delivery driver roles, or paratransit services is preferred.

• Mechanical knowledge to perform basic vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.

• Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently.

• Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and customers.

• Experience in route driving with an understanding of logistics and delivery processes.

• Capability to handle manual transmission vehicles as well as automatic ones.
